Truth About Credit is a project of the U.S. PIRG Education Fund and the
Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups).
U.S. PIRG works
to pursue a mission of standing up to powerful interests on behalf of the
public. U.S. PIRG conducts research,
education and advocacy on behalf of consumers.
With the help of a professional staff of
advocates and organizers, the Student PIRGs investigate problems and develop
practical solutions, and convince the media and decision-makers to pay
attention and take action on consumer protection and higher education issues.
