About Us

Truth About Credit is a project of the U.S. PIRG Education Fund and the Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups).

U.S. PIRG works to pursue a mission of standing up to powerful interests on behalf of the public. U.S. PIRG conducts research, education and advocacy on behalf of consumers.

With the help of a professional staff of advocates and organizers, the Student PIRGs investigate problems and develop practical solutions, and convince the media and decision-makers to pay attention and take action on consumer protection and higher education issues.
